Abstract
Bacteria in the human microbiota that colonize on the human body play an important role in protecting the host from invasion by pathogenic organisms. This protective activity can be mediated by bacteria through producting bacteriocins are antimicrobial peptides produced by one species of bacteria to inhibit the growth of others. Therefore, bacteriocins become an effective solution to replace antibiotics in the treatment of current infections. Furthermore, bacteriocins produced by bacteria can also be applied in many fields such as food preservation technology, aquaculture, and animal husbandryPublished | 2024-06-25 | |
